Prosciutto al melone

There is no way that I could eat all of that. No way. But I did. Which is a miracle. But then, after all, we are in the homeland of miracles. This was a plate full of fresh, ripe and sugar sweet melons. But you can’t see them, because they are covered with lots of ultra thin slices of fresh ham. There are two kinds of ham (prosciutto (say: proshooto)) cooked and air dried. You will usually get the air dried version (prociutto crudo), if it just says prosciutto. So if you are not sure, better ask.
